Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - This product is so so for me.
I've only used this product a handful of times, so I suppose I haven't used it long enough to see any significant improvement...but I have followed the directions EXACTLY as stated in the booklet that comes with the product (and surprisingly, it says that if you do indeed follow the directs carefully, you DON'T need to use the product every day, but rather your hair should be good for 2-3 days without cleansing again). Anyway, I like the smell and the feel of the cleanser on my scalp, and initially I didn't notice too many hairs falling out, but after several more uses, I felt like more hair was coming out in the shower. My scalp is generally very oily, and while this does a good job of cleansing it, I'm just not sure that the price is worth it. I could use head and shoulders shampoo/conditioner and it basically cleanses and conditions the scalp in the same way (just minus the "dreaded" sodium laurel/laureth sulfate). So ultimately, I would say, if you don't mind the price, then give this a whirl, but if you do, then don't bother because I just don't think the hype surrounding the product is worth it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - good for camping/travel
I have fine,curly/wavy hair,so tried the cucumberAloe formula, because of another reveiw, not because it listed which type to use on their website.Had to use 1/2 at most of what they recommend.Left my hair shiny, bouncy, but alas, a little limp.Am sensitive to chemicals, preservatives,ect...so loved the ingredients, but still love my "Colure" all natural,no sulfates shampoo & conditioner better. But for traveling, and lo-flo(ugh) showers, I think it will be awesome, and I will probably try their lavender, too.just dont want anything with wax in it.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Lots of money for nothing special
This product made my hair shiny, but did not enhance it's condition in any other way. It initially gave me a rash on my neck, ears and side of my face, so I stopped using it for awhile. Then tried it again, but rinsed for a long period of time and did not get the rash this time.

I use less expensive, store bought products that give my hair more body and keep it healthier. I feel I wasted my money on this shampoo.

Lesson learned!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Soft, great-smelling hair, but don't expect a miracle...
Okay, so I tried this product last night after reading many reviews. I made sure not to put too much product in my stick-straight Asian hair, combed it out evenly in the shower (first used a pick, then a small-toothed comb), tied it up in a bun, took the rest of my shower, then rinsed it out for about 3 minutes. The outcome? My hair is definitely softer, and by the end of the day, it smells great. The thing is, you still have to actually STYLE your hair, so don't buy this thinking that your hair will magically add volume and be perfect if you don't do anything to it. If you choose to not style your hair, then you'll have the best-smelling hair that's still in a ponytail/bun. Overall, my hair feels great, smells wonderful and isn't dried out at the ends.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - moderately effective overpriced product.

a very very expensive moderately effective product., September 20, 2008

Does this work? Yes....... Is it expensive? Yes very. Is there anything better? yep.... try suave shampoo and conditioner.......it will run you about 2 dollars.....about 15 cents a cleaning. This stuff is about 3 dollars a cleaning.

Anyway #1 it is expensive about 3 dollars a shot

#2 it takes a while to work, you have to leave it on about 5 minutes, just like a much cheaper deep conditioning treatment

#3 IT can build up quite a bit and you will find you have to use regular shampoo to clean your hair.

#4 they have a brilliant marketing informercial which makes it seem like this is great, infact, all of the models they show on tv, if you look at it, their hair looked better before then after using the product.

#5 if you buy this from wen haircare, they will do the automatic shipments. After you cancel it, they will send you one more shipment to make sure you want to cancel it {you can send it back, but you pay the shippint}

#6 they tell you that for added conditioning, add a few pumps to your hair after you dried it......well anything will make your hair smooth after you dried it....any conditioner will.

#7 if you have any curl in your hair, forget it, you wont have it after this product.

#8 use cheap shampoo, and a good conditioner [like leave in infusium 23}, save your money and buy something else you want.

How much would I pay for this? About 3 dollars no more. Save your money, in three months, you will be able to find this for three dollars on ebay!

The new specification for Servlets 3.0 is coming, and Roy van Rijn takes a good look at it. He sees some good things, but also something that makes him want to stand up and make an alternative proposal. Here it is.

Remember how Sony told us we'd be able to lounge around all Thanksgiving weekend, watching YouTubes on our TVs in full screen? LIES! Turns out today's the real day for 2.53. [Sony—Thanks, Stephen]
