Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - attend not yet known on quality
I haven't had my son using the product long enough now to know if this product is working or not. That's why I gave it a mid rating

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This stuff works
I tried this product over Christmas break for my 16 year old son with ADHD. Before Attend and Extress he was inattentive, couldn't attend to task, irritable, always in trouble at school, etc. Since starting this product I have seen a HUGE difference in him. He's not been in trouble all semester, the teachers say that he's using his time appropriately and he's a nice kid to be around now. He said that he could tell the first day that something was different. Said that things that used to bother him don't anymore. I read all the reviews here and not sure why it don't work for everyone, but I feel blessed to have found it after years of struggling and trying the prescription meds (which didn't work besides losing 35 lbs.) Thank you VAXA!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Yes indeed
I grew up in the 70's, which was unfortunately before many kids were being diagnosed with ADD. I've spent my entire life (I'm now in my 40's) not knowing I had a learning disorder and found myself depressed and anxious as an adult. Predictably, I was diagnosed as being clinically depressed and put on SSRI's, which didn't work. After years of toil and frustration (ADD will get much worse when left untreated!) I finally turned toward the idea that I might have ADD. I was close to making the appointment for prescription medication when I decided to give ATTEND a try. After just a week I could tell that my focus and energy was starting to improve and my depression was lifting.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Just use Ginko
I tried this product and it worked immidiately. I was however very concerend about the ingridients (Litium!?..) So I had asked my fammily doctor who told me that I am completely nuts and that there is a reason that this stuff is not FDA approved (There may be lead in it or who knows what). My brother who is a bio-chemist told me that basically Ginko is known to be helpfull for ADD and that there is a ton of it in this pill. So I opted to try just ginko and - it works just as well!

I would recommend first trying Ginko and/or Thirosyne and see if they work before trying Attend.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Search is OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man have I tried different stuff!!!! This pill, if the child is able to swallow pills this size, really works. Now I must say, it will take you a couple of bottles to see a difference, but that's because the body needs to have a build up. I started just before the school year so that by the time I had a couple bottles under my belt, we'd be starting school. My 5th grader is much more able to sit down and actually do work. She's never been hyper or anything, just very difficult to sit down and complete tasks. We were having meltdowns pretty often over her frustration to be able to the work. It always seemed to be too much, she would say. But, I must say after having tried several things, I'm most happy with this one. My other daughter on the other hand, has issues with swallowing pills, and is unable to. I tried to open up the capsules and mix it with drink, but the darn stuff would never want to mix at all with anything, and that was a horrible tasting disaster. So, we stopped that. I give her the Buried Treasure Added Attention, which is also a natural solution. It comes in liquid and although it looks nasty, it is flavored in a way that the children will actually drink it. This is the only thing I give her among diet and exercise. We have recently eliminated soy from our diet, which I found on the interenet to be toxic to both children and adults. It has eliminated some of their aggression and tendencies to be ornary. Do a search engine on facts of soy and see for yourself, don't just take my word for it. You'd be amazed the amount of foods that contain soy, which I think is a contributing factor to children's behavior, and adult's overwhelming feelings we all experience. I think a combination of all these things are what are working for our family. Each has to discover their own, but I say all that to say be aware of what you are feeding yourselves and your kids and go back to the basics and use moderation. This Vaxa has been life changing for us, and will continue to buy it as long as it's available. Hope this helps.

The economic crisis gives IT managers a chance to take advantage of what might be a once-in-a-career buyer's market. Here's how to make sure you don't miss out.

Amazon.com is offering a so-called Black Friday special on Eye-Fi Share:
The 2 GB Wi-Fi-enabled Secure Digital card normally runs $90; it's $65 while the sale lasts.

Given that Eye-Fi introduced a limited-time-only 4 GB "Anniversary" model that replaced the 2 GB Share version in its current line-up, and that the Anniversary model was $130 list but $100 for Costco members, it's pretty clear that the 2 GB won't re-appear, the 4 GB model will drop in price, and Amazon's acting as a clearance center.

The Eye-Fi Share lets you upload pictures over a local network to a designated computer, or upload via a Wi-Fi network for which the Eye-Fi is configured to connect over the Internet to Eye-Fi's servers, and from there to a specified photo-sharing, social-network, or photo-printing service.

I'm a fan of the Eye-Fi, although I favor the currently $130 Explore model (see my review), which comes with geotagging (via Skyhook Wireless) and adds a year of included uploading via Wayport locations (now part of AT&T).

With energy conservation and easy eco-friendliness on just about everybody's agenda these days, one of the most popular concepts is the “Smart Home,” a living environment that knows just how much power you actually need to be comfortable and gives you not a drop more. Nokia's hopping on that wagon with its new Nokia Home Control Center, a Linux-based platform that will control your house's resources via your mobile phone.

According to Nokia, the NHCC will allow third-party developers to create services that are added onto the accessibility platform. That way, you'll rarely come across an incident where some new smart home tech you bought doesn't actually work with your main controller. NHCC works with Z-Wave, ZigBee and KNX, three of the most common command languages for home networks. It will be launched some time in 2009. [Nokia via Treehugger]
