Philips Sonicare Advance 4100 Sonic Power Toothbrush
This replaced a Sonicare that was 5 years old. I'm sure this will last just as long. Sonicare works! Great toothbrush!

Simple device but wears out fast..
This is my first electric tooth brush and I enjoyed using it all the time. However, it seems like it wear out faster than my usual toothbrush. Luckily, I bought replacement brush heads from Amazon with the toothbrush. That's my only complain, but otherwise it works well.

just okay
Stays charged for a long time. Didn't clean teeth quite as well as hoped. Messy to use when mouth is open to clean front teeth etc. Heads were small - new heads are expensive and not sure if they are bigger or not until purchase and use them. Hope it will last a long time for the price paid!

Braun Lost a Toothbrush User
I have used a Braun electric toothbrush since the mid 90s. I needed a replacement due to battery power loss over 5 or 6 years. I saw a special on the Sonicare 4100 in the Golden Box and decided to try it. I am sticking with the Phillips from now on! It works smoother than the Braun with less vibration, so there is less enamel ware. It really did whiten my teeth as they claim! Comfortable to hold and use. Auto shutoff after two minutes. Easy to clean up and keep clean.
Cons:
There is no warning when 15 seconds is up, just the 2 minute shutoff. The Braun gives a 15 second warning. It is probably there in the more expensive models. Although it is still light, it is heaver than the Braun. The replacement heads are much more expensive than the Braun, since they contain gears and are larger.

This is a very good toothbrush, it's my second one the first lasted 5 years.
