Love it!
I started using a t-shirt to cover my eyes around 13 years ago when roomed with someone who worked shift work. While I don't have someone keeping me awake at all hours these days, I have found that something covering my eyes helps me sleep and after 13 years, I decided to try this night mask instead of a t-shirt. I am glad I did. This is so much more comfortable than the tshirts I've been using.
Someone said the velcro bothered them, but unless you generally sleep on your back and have a hard pillow, I doubt you will have a problem. I have slept on my back many times with this, but have a nice down pillow and haven't really noticed the "velcro bump" in the back.
The only reason I give it a 4 is that it does bleed onto all my pillowcases...even after 2 months. I tried washing it right after getting it, but even after two months it often leaves blue to black stains on my pillowcases. I've only reused one of the sheet sets since I got it and I did notice that not all of the stain was removed in washing. Personally, I find the stains much worth the benefit though.

I bought a second one...
I used the Sleep Master all the time. Now I need another 'cause my wife is sleeping with my Sleep Master. Recommended.

Good sleep mask, if sleep masks are for you
This seems like a nice sleep mask, and I don't regret purchasing it. However, if you're like me (a light sleeper who sleeps primarily on his stomach), sleep masks might not work too well for you no matter which one you buy. First of all, it can get a little hot having one of these on your face for an extended period of time. Secondly, I like to sleep on my stomach, and sleep masks don't tend to stay on your face well unless you sleep on your back. Thirdly, I toss and turn a lot, and this means that by morning (when the room is at its brightest), the sleep mask has almost always fallen off my face, exposing me to the light and waking me up again.
In conclusion, if you think sleep masks will work for you, this is probably a good one to try. If you're like me, however, you might try putting a rolled-up, dark T-shirt over your eyes first (a good test to see how well a sleep mask could work for you) or just blocking out your bedroom windows. I eventually settled on the latter, buying $3 worth of denim fabric from Wal-Mart and hanging it over my window using 3M Poster Strips and medium-sized black binder clips, and it works much better for me. Whatever route you choose, good luck!

The best mask ever
I purchased this mask based on the consumer reviews here at amazon.com. I was not dissapointed! I had bought & returned other masks because frankly, they did not even begin to block the light enough to sleep in my very bright bedroom. From the moment I put this mask on I was transported to the Sleep Zone. It has an almost hypnotic effect on me. It's supremely comfortable - I forget it's even on. I love how it blocks the noise - no more sleeping with a pillow over my head as I've been for many years. This masks provides the best sleep I've had in years. I sleep on my side and on my back & it works perfectly. YAY Sleepmaster! It lives up to it's name.

Very helpful on the airplane
After my last long airplane trip where I couldn't sleep during the trip nor for a week afterward on account of jet lag and not preparing my trip properly (I had an aisle seat instead of a window seat), I spent sleepless hours in the middle of the night scouring the web for a good sleep mask. This one looked the best, it is made in the USA, and on my last plane trip, it worked like a charm.
