Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Works better than higher priced models
Heats a full quart of water in under 5 minutes. Easy to use. What is there not to like?

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - I'm a Tea Lover
I am very pleased with this electric kettle, which I use at my desk at work. My co-worker also ordered the same one. It works very well & is very convenient for office use. The only thing that we both noticed is that the cord is very, very short & an extension cord is almost essential.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice item
This is quite convenient pot for making tea. It has some properties that need to be improved. Eg., when boiling water, it smells the plastic so the material could be improved. Second, it takes too much time, comparing with other stuff like this, to boil water. This type of portable things are used when travelling of at workplaces like offices where the quickness of the result is imortant.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect!
I purchase this product because of it's smaller size, I'd seen the large (and expensive) water kettles, but didn't need yet another large & bulky appliance taking up valuable kitchen space. I noticed this smaller one on Amazon and purchased it, and have been delighted with it! We use it every day to heat water for tea, instant coffee, oatmeal, ramen noodles, dry soups, hot chocolate. Love the auto shut-off feature! I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a smaller water kettle. We have had ours over a year and still going strong.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Works great at a great price
This turned out to be a lot better kettle than i expected. i've been using a bodum kettle and this on is alot nicer, boils water fast... Highly recommended for the price...

You guys! Psyched about that whole Watchmen movie thing (previously, we've touched on Watchmen briefly, like, once or twice?), kinda wanna read the book, but you just can't see fitting a 400-page comic into your busy, busy schedule? Fortunately for you, there's The Condensed Version. (Via the often NSFW Journalista.)

Eureka! We'll call it...

NASA got a great big balloon for the 75th anniversary of its iconic Moffett airfield in the heart of Silicon Valley.…

All About N-Gage have the dirt on a game that looks like it has a lot of potential: Asphalt: Urban GT.  I can't say that I've played much more than some FIFA and other random stuff on the N-Gage, but a good racer can add a lot of value to a gaming platform.  Of course I'm still waiting to see if Call of Duty rocks as much as it should.

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?
