Velosurf is a flexible database mapping library for use with the Apache Velocity template engine.

IDEAlliance has posted the call for participation for XML 2008. This year it moves back to the D.C. area (Marriott Crystal Gateway, Arlington, Virginia to be precise) after several years in Boston. I've had a great time at this show for the last couple of years, and it's the major XML event in the U.S. The show runs from December 8-10. I likely won't be able to attend this year, but I do highly recommend it nonetheless.

All About N-Gage have the dirt on a game that looks like it has a lot of potential: Asphalt: Urban GT.  I can't say that I've played much more than some FIFA and other random stuff on the N-Gage, but a good racer can add a lot of value to a gaming platform.  Of course I'm still waiting to see if Call of Duty rocks as much as it should.

Uses Ajax and some other web2.0-ish features.

Semantic MediaWiki--GPL-licensed software that's an extension to MediaWiki--and Semantic MediaWiki+ will move in lockstep, with the next synchronized release due in November.
