Customer Reviews

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - so far so good
The directions for this product were incorrect. Had to call the company for correct instructions (tap water, not distilled), but so far it is working great. It is great for the price, but when I cleaned the essential oil film from inside, I wiped out the fill line--not permanent. It automatically turns off when the water level drops to a certain point, so if you wanted to use this as a humidifier in your bedroom, it would not last the night.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - needs a battery instead of plug
This item didn't work until I put regular tap water in it then it worked great. For those who find the item doesn't work, try this first. It would be better if it came as a battery operated item. It has an adaptor that needs to be plugged in making it hard to place it on the coffee table in the living room.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Spa NOT
Horrible product - cheaply made - Did not work when I received it - I returned the product immediately

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Tranquil and Cool
This mister has several advantages over the bowl type misters that have the ultrasonic thingamabob completely submerged in water.

Pros: The ultrasonic device, its LED's and power cabling aren't exposed to water and oils - reducing maintenance and possibly extending the lifespan of the ultrasonic device since bowl mister performance seems to decline after just a few weeks of use. The LEDs malfunction or completely die in bowl misters after a while (blue LED's die really fast for some reason and are always the first to go).

This mister has a fan at its base and a directional vent head that disperses the water vapor so you can control the direction of vapor flow.

It's less messy.

The lights transition smoothly, the colors fade and meld creating a really tranquil and mesmerizing ambiance.

Cons: Very small, water capacity is low. You have to add water frequently, but that shouldn't be a problem.

UPDATE: I've discovered what creates the off smell in this unit. It is not the plastic. The fan is placed right under the PCB in the device, the smell of the chemicals in the PCB is what I smell. It is quite strong. Also, my unit is malfunctioning now. The electronic components are not as safe from water as I thought.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - You've gotta be kidding me!
Not much to say here over this product. Filled it yesterday as per the directions and it worked fine. Now one day later it starts and stops all by itself. Yes, I filled the water (distilled) again and it still wouldn't work. So, I left it sitting on my counter switched on with fresh water in it and in about an hour it started working again. But after 15 minutes it started to turn on and off and then just stopped all together. I guess I should have paid more attention to the reviews. How this POS ever got 5 stars is way beyond me. Now I get to go through all that fun of sending the lousy thing back. Costing 17 bucks, I might just pitch it in the trash.
Does anybody ever test these things?

Researchers in Europe have generated a digital zebrafish embryo -- the first complete developmental blueprint of a vertebrate. With a new microscope scientists could for the first time track all cells for the first 24 hours in the life of a zebrafish. The data was reconstructed into a three-dimensional, digital representation of the embryo.

Microsoft has acknowledged that exploit code is circulating for a still-unpatched vulnerability it first reported six months ago. But it's not clear when, or if, it plans to release a patch.
