No Cure All, But no Snake Oil Either
Acne and other skin conditions may be cause by a number of internal and external factors, and anyone wanted a more thorough understanding of dermatological facts may want to seach PubMed.com or Webmd.com. This is a fairly mild soap with the drying agent salicylic acid, an astringest that is found in many other face and hair products. If you have serious acne problems, I would suggest (well, I am suggesting, but since I'm not a doctor, I do so very tentatively) that you go to a doctor and look for treatment indicated for your condition and your genes(e.g., antibiotics, changes in lifestyle, etc.).
So, unfortunately, perhaps one needs to lower his or her expectations a little. If you;re looking for an effective, "oil-free" soap with some drying action, and with no negatives (bad scent, pore-clogging, overly or underly sudsing) then you might give this a try. Neutrogena also makes a 3% salicyclic soap. It's packaged well, the pump works without a hitch, and it cleans your face without leaving a sticky feeling. Thre are lots of products out there, perhaps your doctor or your experience will guide you towards the one that is effective and pleasant enough to use.

Not the best.
Well I purchased this item at the BX months ago. And it stops you from getting more acne but does not help cure existing ones. It is very soft but I do not like the smell. The pump was great its better then those squezze bottles for most cleansers. If you have no pimples but just a bit of oily skin. This is higly recomended.

Very diappointed
Okay, I bought this item at Walmart a while ago.
This product does NOTHING to treat/prevent acne and further breakout. I know it's a cheap one, but also it doesn't work at all... I'd say try either ProActiv or Klear Action. If those don't work then you'd seriously have to see a doctor/surgeon that does laser treatment to permanently get rid of acne and acne scars.
