Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome trash can!!
I love this trash can. It is easy to clean, works exactly as advertised, doesn't eat batteries, and looks really cool. It opens quickly, as soon as you get your hand over it. Works great free standing. Highly recommend...especially for those who are cooking in the kitchen and can toss rubbish without having to touch anything! This is the perfect trash can for family's with small children.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!
I MUST ADMIT I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT A "HANDS FREE " TRASH CAN AND EVEN CONSIDERED IT A NOVELTY BEFORE I OWNED IT, BUT AFTER USING IT FOR OVER A YEAR THIS IS ONE OUR THE BEST PRODUCTS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED THRU AMAZON. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL ....THIS TRASH CAN IS NOT A NOVELTY PRODUCT THAT YOU USE A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND THROW AWAY.
I FIRST PURCHASED THIS {OVER A YR AGO} I HAVE SINCE BOUGHT 4 MORE FOR BATH ROOMS,BASEMENT KITCHEN, ETC.
I AM VERY PLEASED AND SUGGEST ANYONE LOOKING AT THIS TRASH CAN SHOULD BUY IT.
BTW...BATTERIES LAST OVER A YR W/ CONSTANT USAGE, LOOKS GREAT, WORKS WELL W/ ALL 13 GALLON TRASH BAGS.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A very cool trash can
I've had this trash can a little more than a month. So far, it's worked perfectly. I read with some concern the issues regarding the material and finish. All I can say is that mine is perfect. It's sturdy, it looks cool. It's easy to load the bags. It takes a little practice to hit the right spot to get the lid to open, but I'd rather have a narrow field to trigger the open than have it opening and closing every time you walk by it.
I did have one problem that concerned me. The lid stopped opening automatically. I had read other reviews claiming that this happened after a couple of weeks of use. I "rebooted" the lid by removing the batteries and then putting them back in. That solved the problem only to have it happen again several times. I noticed that it always seemed to happen after my wife used the trash can, so I asked her to show me how she was using it. She was pushing the "open" button (she was having trouble finding the sensor) and then pushing the lid down with her hand!!! By engaging the open button, she was turning off the sensor. Since she stopped doing that, we haven't had any problems.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - my review
Great product, only thing is if you walk to close to it the lid will open.
No problems with it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product!
This is our second trashcan like this. We love the hands-free convenience. Our grandkids & our great-grandkids are fascinated by it. We completely re-modeled our house, especially the kitchen--new appliances & everything, but this trash can is what everyone focuses on.--Wouldn't you know it?

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.
