Product DescriptionChart your Basal Body Temperature and predict ovulation - your most fertile time of the month for conceiving a baby - with a specially designed digital BBT Thermometer. When a woman ovulates, a rise in body temperature takes place in order to provide a more fertile environment for conception. By monitoring when this temperature change occurs, you can determine when ovulation takes place in your cycle. Recording each day's basal body temperature with a BBT Thermometer will help you predict ovulation. The Fairhaven Health Digital Basal Thermometer provides temperature readings to 1/100th of a degree - perfect for fertility charting and predicting ovulation.

Features:
  • Sensitive to 1/10th of a degree for accurate readings
  • Beeps to indicate peak temperature reading
  • Features a large, easy-to-read digital display and free ovulation chart
  • Displays a memory recall of your last reading

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Memory is inconsistant
The memory feature is less to be desired. It more often sets back to the default temperature when holding the ON button. It is a pain to have to get out of bed and walk across the room to turn on the light to read it and record it right away. I bought it because of the memory feature and am displeased with the lack there of. Now I just keep a flashlight next to the bed so I can record it right away. I wouldn't recommend this one if you are counting on the memory to be correct last temp taken.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect timer
This thermometer is very acurate and reliable. I am tracking my BBT for fertility reasons, and I love that I can roll over in bed, take my temperature, and I have ten minutes before I actually have to get out of bed to record the reading.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Does the job for little money & effort.
Not top-of-the-line, but this works very well for me, and for a very reasonable price.

+it is inexpensive
+it is accurate
+beeps when finished
+beeps when turned off
+has recall of last temp

-no backlight [but not claimed to have one, and frankly, I don't test until sunlight's filtering in or husband is up in the other room with light coming down hallway, so the point is moot for me]
-takes 2-3min for temps sometimes [again, not a big deal for me]

For the price, this was worth it for me. It's a great, inexpensive way to chart and, in my case, practice FAM to avoid pregnancy -- and eventually have great records of my cycles for when I do want to conceive.

Company ships quickly and in good, protective packaging, too.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very accurate and consistent.
I got this product because I have been getting sick a lot and my cvs/wallgreens/shaws thermometers never seemed to be consistent. Well this one is both consistent and also accurate. Only con is that it takes a while for it to show the results but I'm pretty sure that is just me being impatient.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - BBT Thermometer
I believe the BBT Thermometer is fairly accurate with the only downfalls being, it takes awhile to get your final temp and there is not backlight. So you need to turn on the lights to see your results. Other than that, I believe its a great thermometer.

Eclipse3.1M3 comes out later today..

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.
